In Japan, many women have a problem of bowel movement, especially trouble with constipation.
Some of them have constipation since their early childhood.
What is constipation by the way?
I usually ask my patients not only frequency but also how difficult when they have bowel movement; hard and/or small stool, abdominal pain, anal pain, taking a lot of time for evacuation and so on.
In addition, constipation may cause other troubles such as hemorrhoid, fissure and mucosa prolapse syndrome.
Moreover, it may lead to skin trouble.
